ruminating

Having looked through the cookbook again I am finding many recipes that look wonderful. Keep in mind that I am baking these in Hawaii with very warm and humid temperatures that make crisp cookies an impossibility. Nevertheless, I shall do my best! Just some history, Guido and I bought the book in 1978 or so at Kroch and Brentano's bookstore in Chicago ( yes part of the pricetag is still on the book!). It is a well-used book but still in one piece. The next step is making a grocery list for the first cookie challenge!!!
