A thin, crisp, delicious molasses cookie. The only suggestion is to not over bake them. I kept them on the small side and pulled them out of the oven about a full minute early. The directions said to roll them in powdered sugar while they were warm but I think just sprinkling them with the sugar would be sufficient.

Sugar and spice... and everything nice!
ReplyDeleteThese were tasty! Crispy and I liked the powder sugar on the outside. I thought the size was just fine and any bigger actually would result in a very large cookie (granted, they are thin)... And Bob ate them in a matter of SECONDS! THANK YOU!
These cookies can be added to my list of cookies that I would love with some hot tea. These get a thumbs up from me
ReplyDeleteGreat crunch and taste!
ReplyDeleteLike an old indian recipe my grandfather in Shawano, Wisconsin made.
